Registration consists of a) payment of tuition fees, b) course enrollment, c) and submitting a student data form. Registration is deemed complete after all the registration procedures have been completed according to instructions. Once registration is complete, the applicant becomes an SNU international student. Student status is retained until graduation unless the student withdraws, or is required to withdraw, or fails to complete registration in a given period.
Newly admitted students must complete their registration before the beginning of the semester within the given period specified in the Academic Calendar. |

As a national institution, Seoul National University offers opportunity of the best education at low expense with the average tuition fee being 6,000 USD per semester in 2008. Please note that tuition fees vary according to a student¡¯s major and not the number of credits taken. To check the tuition fees for each major, click on the tuition fee chart file below

Tuition fees are normally paid twice a year before each semester begins. Normally, 1st semester registration takes place at the end of February, and 2nd semester registration takes place at the end of August each year. Specific due dates will be notied on the university website.
It is the University¡¯s policy that students are responsible for their tuition bill. This responsibility includes reviewing their tuition fees statement online (http://snuhaksa.snu.ac.kr/sdj/Sdjfront.jsp ) and making sure their tuition fees are paid by the due date.
The University may deny registration to those students whose bills are not paid by the established deadline.
The University and its individual Colleges offer financial aid and scholarships for those eligible. Please refer to Financial Aid and Scholarships for further information.

| Payment Procedures |

1) Paying On Campus
Students can visit the banks on campus (Nong-Hyup and Shin-Han Bank) and pay their tuition fees by giving your name and student id number to the teller. There are two Nong-Hyup banks on campus, one beside the restaurant Jahayeon and the other beside the Student Center. Shin-Han banks are located in Shinyang Student Center, the Student Center and Gwanaksa Dorm Service Center. Please note that the working hours of the banks are 9:30 ~ 16:30, from Monday to Friday. 2) Paying Off Campus
Students who wish to pay their tuition fees off campus can visit any bank, including the post
office, credit unions and the Korean Federation of Community Credit Cooperatives (KFCC). However students must bring their tuition fees statement, which can be printed out from the university website at http://snuhaksa.snu.ac.kr/sdj/Sdjfront.jsp.

3) Using Virtual Account Service
Virtual account service is a method used for money transfer that enables tuition payment and verification of the sender to be easier. Students can pay their tuition fees using virtual account service via an ATM, Internet banking, or telephone banking with the exception of newly admitted graduate students. After creating an account belonging to the University at Nonghyup (³óÇù)
or Shinhan Bank (½ÅÇÑÀºÇà), each student receives a unique account number to transfer
his or her tuition to. Each student¡¯s virtual account number is shown on their tuition fees statement.
