|  SNU extends
a warm welcome to international candidates for undergraduate program. International candidates include both foreign applicants and Korean students who have received entire education (from elementary to high school) abroad. All undergraduate programs provided by our 16 colleges are open to you. At SNU, you will be joining over 2,300 international students already enjoying an excellent education and campus life at SNU. The university offers various ways to ways to finance education to overseas students. Most international students are partially or fully exempt from tuition fees through university scholarships, merit-based performance scholarships and work-study programs.

| When can I apply? |
| Although SNU’s academic year begins in the spring, the University offers admissions for the fall semester as well as the spring. Undergraduate applicants should note, however, that only transfer admission is available in the fall. Please note the following important dates: |
