Welcome to ISI
The International Summer Institute (ISI) offers an exceptional opportunity for international students to study at SNU, with a league of the world¡¯s best scholars. SNU ISI offers an intensive six-week summer program led by distinguished international faculty. ISI courses are conducted entirely in English, combined with field trips to cultural sites and an optional Korean language program to make the summer experience an exciting cross-cultural encounter. Students not familiar with the Korean language may also wish to attend the Korean Language Program, offered by SNU¡¯s Language Education Institute, where they will receive language and cross-cultural communication skill training.

Programs
SNU ISI is composed of two programs: undergraduate and graduate.
The Undergraduate Program consists of nine courses, as listed below, and there is one Graduate Program.
Undergraduate Program
Undergraduate students must take at least six credits to enroll in the summer session and are encouraged to register for all nine credits to take full advantage of the program. A certificate of completion will be awarded by Seoul National University to every student who successfully completes the program at the Institute.
