The Korean Education System |
| The Korean education system is composed of 6 years of elementary school, 3 years of middle school and 3 years of high school. The first 9 years of schooling are mandatory by Korean law, while further education is optional. The Korean education system was dubbed to be the most efficient system according to research done by UNICEF on 26th Nov. 2002. However, the system exhibits problems as well, as competition amongst students is ever so high. |
