April 22, 2015 Professor Sung Hee Baek’s research team (Department of Biological Sciences) has found that Pontin chromatin remodeling factor plays an essential role as a coactivator for Oct4 for maintenance of pluripotency in mouse embryonic stem cells. Oct4 is a protein which is critically involved in the self-renewal of undifferentiated embryonic stem cells. more
