1. 2011 Spring Semester Registration period
1) Registration period: Monday, February 21st ~ Friday, February 25th, 2011. (5 days)
2) Location: Any branch of Nonghyup, Shinhan bank, or Woori Bank
* Additional fees will be incurred at the student’s own expense if the payment is made
through institutions other than Nonghyup, Shinhan Bank, and Woori Bank.
2. Application for Reversion and Readmission
1) Reversion
(1) Period: Monday, December 13th, 2010 ~ Thursday, February 24th, 2011.
(2) Procedure: Apply via the Internet and submit the document
• Login to MySNU (http://my.snu.ac.kr) → Administrative Systems (학사행정) → Personal
Information (개인정보) → Application for Reversion/Leave of Absence (휴복학 신청)
• Print out (click"출력" button) the web page within 3 days and submit the document to
the Administration Office (data will be erased when not submitted within 5 days)
* Confirmation: MySNU → Adnimistrative Systems → Personal Information → Basic
Information (기본인적) → check your status at School Register Change tab (학적변동)
2) Readmission
(1) Period
• 1st round: Monday, December 13th, 2010 ~ Monday, January 24th, 2011.
• 2nd round: Monday, February 7th ~ Thursday, February 24th, 2011.
(2) Procedure: submit the requested document to the Administration Office. Application via
the Internet will not be available.
3. Leave of Absence
1) Period:
• Before Registration: Monday, December 13th, 2010 ~ Friday, May 25th, 2011.
• After Registration: Monday, February 21st ~ Wednesday, April 20th, 2011.
2) Procedure: Refer to the instruction as described in application for Reversion
3) Notes
• Students who want to apply for a Leave of Absence after Registration should pay tuition
before taking the Leave of Absence. One cannot pay tuition after taking the Leave of Absence.
• Leave of Absence is valid ONLY for TWO academic semesters (totaling to one calendar year).
If a student has taken a Leave of Absence for a year, he/she must re-apply for Leave of Absence
or apply for Returning to school.
• Maximum aggregate term of absence
ㆍ Undergraduate: 6 semesters
ㆍ Master’s program: 4 semesters
ㆍ Doctoral program: 6 semesters
• You will be dismissed from the school if you exceed these time allotments. Students whose
Leave of Absence exceeds the given allotments on 2010 Fall Semester MUST return no matter
when one has taken the Leave of Absence.
