1) SNU attendee (including students on leave of absence):
Even if you fulfill the graduation requirement credits through summer session while on leave
of absence, you are not allowed to graduate.
If you want to take summer session courses for the purpose of graduation at the semester,
the acceptance will be given to only when you registered for the semester.
2) Non-SNU Students from Overseas: Register through the Office of International Affairs (OIA)
2. Searching for Course Catalogs and Syllabuses
Log on to the SNU Portal (http://my.snu.ac.kr) → click on’수강편람’ (Course Catalog) at the top
of the screen → click on 2011 ‘여름학기’ (Summer Session) → 해당교과목 상세조회 (Advanced Search)
3. Course Registration and Adjustment
1) Pre-Registration: Monday, May 2nd ~ Wednesday, May 4th, 2011.
※ Note that Pre-Registration is NOT Course Registration. Pre-Registration offers you a chance
to search for courses with convenience. Even after Pre- Registration, you must register
separately during the Course Registration Period.
2) Course Registration: Log on to the course registration website (http://sugang.snu.ac.kr)
during the following periods.
▶ Monday, May 9th ~ Wednesday, May 11th, 2011.8:00 a,m,. ~ 6:00 p.m.
▶ Thursday, May 12th ~ Monday, May 16th, 2011. 9:00 a.m. ~ 6:00 p.m., excluding holidays
such as Saturday, Sunday, and May 10th (Budda’s Birthday)
3) Credit Limits: maximum 9 credits
4) Course Adjustment
▶ Course Adjustment Period: Monday, May 23th ~ Wednesday, May 25th.
You may adjust your courses after logging on to http://sugang.snu.ac.kr
4. Course Cancellation
1) Before course opening (~ Wednesday, June 22nd): Full refund
Log on to http://my.snu.ac.kr → Click on “학사행정”tab at the top of the screen →
Click on “수업관리”→ Click on “계절학기”→ Click on “수강신청취소/환불신청”→
Click on a “신청” button on a course you want to cancel to apply for course withdrawal
and tuition refund.
2) After course opening (Thursday, June 23rd ~): Refer to dates as follows. Cancel the course
online and print out the Course Cancellation document. You should get a signature from
the instructor of the course and submit the document to the department office before
the cancellation period ends.

5. Tuition Fee:
▶ Theoretical Courses: 40,500 won per credit
▶ Experiment/Exercise Courses: 45,500 won per credit (Courses that use facilities outside
school, such as Bowling and Swimming, require additional rental fees)
6. Tuition Fee Payment
1) Tuition Fee Payment Period: Tuesday, May 31st ~ Tuesday, June 7th, 2011.
2) Payment Location: The tuition fee can be paid through all banks.
(Payment through virtual account numbers is possible only until 5 p.m.)
3) Printing out the Tuition Bill:
① Log on to http://my.snu.ac.kr
→ Click on “학사행정” → Click on “수업관리” → Click on “계절학기”→ Click on “계절학기
고지서 출력” or,
② Click on “계절학기 등록금 고지서 출력” beneath the “학사서비스” tab at the bottom-left
of the My SNU homepage.
7. Course Cancellation Announcements
1) Announcement Dates:
▶ 1st Notice: Tuesday May 17th, 2011.
▶ 2nd Notice: Thursday, June 9th, 2011.
2) If the courses you registered for get canceled, you should adjust to other courses with
an equivalent tuition fee or request a refund at your Department Office by Thursday,
June 16th, 2011. (You can adjust your courses online during the course adjustment period.)
8. Miscellaneous
1) Summer Session Period: Thursday, June 23rd ~ Wednesday, August, 3rd, 2011. (Courses may
end on different dates depending on the course.)
2) To change your course registration password, login to http://my.snu.ac.kr → 학사행정 (Student
Administration) → 개인정보 (Personal Information) → Go to 기본인적 (Change Personal Information)
→ Click on the 수정(change) tab on the upper side to the right → input new Course Registration
password in the ‘새 수강 비밀번호’ (New Course Registration Password) section.
3) Due to the limitation policy on the eligibility of course retaking, you are not allowed to re-register
for courses taken during the 2011 Spring Semester during this Summer Session.
