■ Pre-Requisites
① Grade B+ or above in more than one intermediate or advanced German course.
※ Intermediate courses are: Introduction to German 2, German Composition, Current German,
Readings in German Prose
② Alternatively, a recommendation by a professor of the Department of German Language and
Literature or the Department of German Language Education may be submitted.
③ If the number of applicants is larger than the availability, students will be selected after
an interview with the dean and the professor in charge.
※ Students graduating in August 2011 cannot apply!
■ Fees: The tuition fee for language courses and the dormitory fee are provided by SNU. Each student should pay their tuition fee for the summer session, reserve and purchase flight tickets individually, and prepare other living expenses.
■ Application Period: Tuesday, April 26th ~ Monday, May 2nd, 2011.
■ Interview: Wednesday, May 4th, 2011. 16:30 ~ 18:30.
■ Required Documents: Application form (attached), University transcript, Proof of 2011 Spring Semester Course Enrollment

■ Notes
ㆍYou cannot cancel or receive a refund after course registration.
ㆍTuition fee for 2011 summer session should be paid individually.
(3 credits, each applicant should print out the tuition bill from the SNU portal and pay at allocated
banks during the registration period.)
ㆍIn 2011, Introduction to German 3 is only available in summer session.
