Gwanaksa Summer Registration

Gwanaksa (The SNU Dormitory) offers summer registration for undergraduate students, who want to remain at the dormitory for activities such as summer session studies,

※ This dormitory policy is limited to undergraduate students, who currently reside in Gwanaksa and some of the undergraduate students who currently reside in the newly-built dormitory.

1. Summer Dormitory Opening
   1) Period: Monday, June, 20th ~ Sunday, August, 28th, 2011.
   2) Applicable Buildings: All dormitory buildings (graduate students are not included).
   3) Eligibility for Registration (and payment of housing fees): Current dormitory undergraduate students 
      who want to remain during the summer vacation. (Non-current dorm students are not included.)

2. Registration 
   1) Period: Monday, May 23rd, 2011 ~ Friday, May 27th, 2011 (until 17:00).
   2) Bill Printing Process: Login at http://dorm.snu.ac.kr and click on the menu ‘온라인 입사신청(online
       registration)’, ‘고지서 출력(print out bill)’. Bill printing is available only from May 23 to May 27.
   3) Payment of Housing Fees: Fees will be indicated on your bill. You may either select Shinhan or 
      Nonghyup accounts for payment. Any other accounts may be subject to additional charge.

      ㆍ Nonghyup Internet Banking System: http://banking.nonghyup.com  
   4) Confirmation of Payment: Login to http://my.snu.ac.kr and click on ‘기숙사(Dormitory)’, 
      ‘서류접수확인 / 입금조회(Registration Confirmation / Payment Confirmation).’ An online record 
      of payment will be available on the day after you complete the payment. 
   5) Cost
      ㆍ Room for two: KRW 249,000.
      ㆍ Room for six: KRW 285,000 (Bldg. #919)
      ㆍ Room for two: KRW 478,000 (undergraduates currently in the new dormitory)

3. Refund Policy
   1) Registration day ~ June 10th: 100% refund.
   2) June 13th ~ June 17th: 90% refund.
   3) June 20th ~ July 6th: 70% refund.
   4) July 7th ~ July 23rd: 50% refund.
   5) July 25th ~ August 9th: 25% refund.
   6) August 11th~: No refund.
      * If you wish to get a refund between the registration day and July 17, you should visit the Gwanaksa
        administrative office and fill out the form for ‘Registration Cancellation’

4. Additional Information
   1) Please register during the registration period; otherwise, registrations will not be accepted.
   2) Current dormitory undergraduates who do not wish to remain during the summer vacation should 
       move out by Sunday, June 19, along with all personal belongings.
