SNU Bundang Hospital Saves AMI Patients

SNU Bundang Hospital is now equipped with an operation system that can save the lives of patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI).
 
AMI is a disease which blocks one or more of the coronary arteries, most likely leading to a heart attack. In a case of AMI, the patient must have the arteries opened within 12 hours since the first symptom and 90 minutes of arrival at the hospital. Therefore, the timely manner of emergency operations is crucial for the remedy of this disease.
 
SNU Hospital Bundang Branch now performs necessary operations within 70 minutes on average.
