In 2002, SNU Business School was the first business school in Korea to be accredited by the AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). Founded in the US in 1916, this non-profit association evaluates business schools worldwide using factors such as strategic management and innovation, participants – student, faculty, and professional staff, learning and teaching, and academic and professional engagement. SNU Business School was reauthorized in 2012, and established MBA (Masters of Business Administration) programs such as Global MBA and SNU MBA, and Executive MBA - which holds classes on the weekends.

While most MBA programs follow a two-year curriculum, the classes at SNU Business School are compressed into an intensive 16-month program. In addition to SNU professors, the faculty also includes renowned professors from prestigious business schools abroad such as The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, Yale University, and Carnegie Mellon University. The Global MBA program is taught in English and, like the SNU MBA course, offers study abroad options such as dual degree and exchange programs. Students taking the SNU MBA program choose between the finance, strategic planning, or marketing tracks.

Since 2008, SNU has offered dual degree programs with Duke University, Peking University, and ESSEC Business School in France. In 2013, Yale University and Hitotsubashi University in Japan also joined the universities partnering with SNU for the dual degree program.

All students in the weekday MBA programs are eligible to apply for the dual degree programs with these universities. The advantage that SNU MBA students have is that they are able to study at a prestigious business school abroad for a semester without paying additional tuition fees.

SNU MBA has study exchange partnerships with 24 universities in 14 countries including University of Cambridge, New York University, and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). SNU Business School is the only school in Korea participating in Yale University’s Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM). As a member of GNAM, students of the SNU MBA program are able to take online courses with students from the other 28 leading business schools worldwide that are also members of GNAM, such as University of California, Berkeley University and INSEAD in France.
