SNU Hosts Natural Science Experience Camp
On August 1-3 and 8-10, SNU College of Natural Sciences and the SNU Science Outreach Center held the Natural Sciences Experience Camp. First hosted in 2010, the camp has been offered twice per year since 2017 in response to rising requests for additional sessions.

Eight New Genes in the Ginseng Plant
A joint research project between Professor Yang Tae-Jin (College of Agriculture and Life Sciences) and Professor Sung Sanghyun (College of Natural Sciences) led to the discovery of eight new genes in ginsenoside, part of the chemical structure that makes up the ginseng plant, which is often used in traditional medicine.
