Alert: Watch Out for “Phishing” E-mails (University Computer Center)

Please be on guard against “phishing” e-mails that are recently being sent to some SNU mail users masquerading as ‘Seoul National University Administrative Office.’ These e-mails have no relation whatsoever to our center. If you receive an e-mail that demands personal information (password, birthday, etc.) sent by ‘davideobrien1@eircom.net’ with the title ‘SNU Computing Center’, DO NOT reply to them. If you have replied to these e-mails by accident, log on to http://my.snu.ac.kr, change your password, and contact the following number.

ㆍPhishing is the act of changing an e-mail’s feature illegally to disguise its origin into a lawful source.
