Recruitment for Residents for the International House (Dongsung-dong)

The International House* managed by the Office of International Affairs is recruiting applicants who wish to reside. Please do not confuse the International House with the BK International House at Gwanak Campus.
* Location: 199-1 Dongsung-dong, Jongno-gu.
Take the subway line no. 4, get off at Hyehwa Stn. and go out to exit no. 2. The building is on the 2nd floor of the School of Medicine Annex behind the Korean National Open Univ (1 hour trip to Gwanak campus, 10 minutes away from Yeongeon campus).

1. Possible Residents
   ㆍ Foreign students and Korean students from abroad, attending SNU
   ㆍ Foreign researchers or Korean researchers at SNU from abroad
   ㆍ Foreign students or Korean students from abroad, participating in internship programs or other research
       projects at SNU

2. Capacity: 6
   ㆍ Single Room (Deposit: 340,000won, Monthly payment 170,000won): 1 (female)
   ㆍ Double Room (Deposit: 280,000won, Monthly payment 140,000won): one bed (male), two rooms 
      (4 beds, couples available)

3. Selection of Residents: First-come-first-served basis among applicants. 
   The application will be valid for six months. When the number of applicants exceeds the number of rooms
   available, the unsuccessful applicants will be allocated their rooms when additional rooms open up later.

4. Application Deadline: Thursday, September 30th, 2010.

5. Documents to Submit
   ㆍ Application form (attached, please make sure you include your photo and contacts)
   ㆍ A copy of your passport 
   ㆍ Certificate of Attendance (students and researchers)
   ㆍ Medical Certificate (Health Examination Report)
   ㆍ Letter of Recommendation from your Advisory Professor (if necessary)

* For those who are visiting SNU for a short period, documents should be submitted 2 months prior to their
   moving-in.

6. Submission
