Seoul National University Ranked 29th in QS World University Rankings 2023 and Awarded Recognition of Employability

Seoul National University has been ranked the world’s 29th best university in the recently published QS World University Rankings 2023, becoming the first Korean university to enter the TOP 30. This is a seven-place increase compared to the previous year, and SNU now is ranked 7th among Asian universities and maintains the 1st place in Korea.

Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a British university ranking agency, announced the rankings of 1,418 world universities based on 6 indicators. SNU has received particularly high scores in Academic Reputation (98.6 points) and Employer Reputation (97.8) points.

In addition, SNU received a certificate for Recognition of Employability. The QS Recognition of Employability, launched this year, was awarded to universities that performed excellence in graduate employment rate and alumni performance despite the persistent and increasing competition in job market that concerns students worldwide. QS will introduce a new ranking indicator called Employment Outcomes from next year, and SNU scored 97.7 points in this year's pilot evaluation.
