Providing Customized Preliminary Education for Freshmen

SNU Faculty of Liberal Education will provide a four-week of 'camp education' for the next year’s freshmen to make them better adjust to college education. It will offer classes to some 600 freshmen admitted for the 2010 spring semester.

The Faculty said that this program will be a more customized pre-admission education depending on freshmen's academic interests or backgrounds and big gaps in academic ability.

“We plan to raise their interest in basic learning by teaching them how to think and express themselves in English and build mathematical thinking and knowledge.”, a professor at the Faculty of Liberal Education said.

The program includes a week of integrated intellect training, followed by a week of creative thinking and writing, three weeks of math, and two weeks of English.
